Unit beeps but does not come on.
Ensure that the boiler is pushed all the way in position and is full of water. Contact us if this does not resolve the issue.

Steam leaking from the lid instead of liquifying and going into the carafe.
Check to make sure the fan is freely spinning. Contact us to arrange repair or for repair instructions.

Household electrical breakers are tripping.
Too many appliances are on the same circuit, or household circuits may require increased capacity.

Rust spots appearing in the boiler or on the boiler lid.
Iron in the source water may require more rigorous cleaning of the boiler or lid. Minor rust accumulation will not affect the quality of the distilled water as any rust will stay in the boiler to be cleaned later.
