Description

Our most popular Best-in-Class Countertop Home Water Distiller comes with a Top Quality One Gallon Glass Carafe with Ergonomic "Easy-Lift" Handle. It has a Stainless Steel main body exterior and 100% Stainless Steel interior steam chamber and condensing coil and also features single-button start, automatically turns off, and is very easy to clean.

Our Best-in-Class Models 100, 100SS, 300 and 300SS are identical except for your choice of exterior, White Baked-Enamel metal body or Stainless Steel body; and the collection/serving pitcher, (carafe), which is Break-Resistant Food-Grade BPA-Free Polypropylene with the Model 100 and 100SS; or a specially designed Glass Carafe and porcelain nozzle insert with the Model 300 and 300SS. Other than those variations, Models 100, 100SS, 300 and 300SS all share the same top quality features of our tried and true system that has been sold to thousands of satisfied customers.

Features & Convenience:

  • Top Quality: The entire Steam Chamber including Dome and Condensing Coil is 100% Stainless Steel, Grade 304, (also known as 18/8), the most widely used and versatile of all the stainless grades. All plastics used are Food-Safe and BPA-Free. (NO POLYCARBONATE COLLECTION CONTAINER or other parts that may touch the water.) All our stainless steel boilers also have a metal exterior.
  • Includes a one year supply of H2o Labs EXCLUSIVE Activated Carbon Pods that last twice as long and contain 3 TIMES the filtering media, specifically designed to provide the purest water and the most effective VOC removal of any similar distiller. Also comes with a safe non-porous, lead-free porcelain nozzle Insert so pure water doesn’t touch plastic.
  • Safe non-porous, lead-free Porcelain Nozzle Insert so pure water doesn’t touch plastic.
  • Optimal size 565 Watt heating element. Bigger is NOT better. Larger heating elements in one gallon units can cause water to mix with VOCs and other contaminates. Some manufacturers use a “splash shield” with a larger heating element which is ineffective in preventing contamination.
  • Best Value: More economical by far. Some one-gallon units can cost twice as much and aren't as good. Other makes can cost less initially, but end up costing much more due to poor quality and repair issues.
  • High Efficiency: Can make up to 4 gallons per day. (One gallon per cycle.)
  • UL Listed: Underwriters Laboratories is the leading Independent, not-for-profit product safety testing and certification organization that has been testing products for public safety for more than a century.
  • Easy & Safe: Push a single button to start. Thermostatically controlled to automatically switch off. Fail-safe fuse for double protection. (Dangerous circuit breakers used by some other manufacturers can fail resulting in over-heating of the appliance or worse.)
  • Space Saving, Durable & Portable: At under 8 pounds you can easily take it with you on vacations or travels!
  • Ease of Maintenance: No need to purchase and replace dirty filter cartridges. Easy to clean. Both distiller and carafe have large openings for easy access and cleaning by hand. (Some other makes are extremely difficult if not impossible to clean by hand.)
  • Stainless Steel exterior Décor SS model matches other stainless steel kitchen appliances.
  • Ergonomic "Easy-Lift" Handle. Dark blue handle and lid made from top quality, food-safe, BPA-Free polypropylene. Also easy to clean. (Some competing units use a bottle that is impossible to reach inside for cleaning.) Functional lid has a silicone seal and positional spout cover which helps to prevent dust and refrigerator odors from getting into the pure water.
  • FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD covers ALL parts and labor. (2 and 3 year extended warranties also available.) LIFETIME Full Value Trade-in GUARANTEE when you want to move up from your H2oLabs one gallon unit to a higher capacity distillation system with convenient storage tank. LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE with 90 DAY PRICE PROTECTION! Should you find the same water distiller for a lower price, we will refund the difference any time within 90 Days of your purchase and you still keep all the H2o Labs exclusive guarantees and privileges not available from other brands.

Everything you need to begin making the PUREST water ever is included!. Along with your water distiller you’ll receive the carafe, a large jar of non-toxic Cleaning Crystals in case it's needed for hard water scale buildup, and a one year supply of Activated Carbon Pods to remove residual VOC gases more effectively than any other brand. You also receive the most complete, useful and easy-to-understand instruction manual in the industry.

This is my favorite household item. I have lived in multiple states, have tried numerous wells and springs and love being able to have 'my water' wherever I live. I rotate 5-10 gallons distilling 3-5+ gallons per week. My electric bill is basically unaffected. I drink a range from empty to various salts and fulvic acid mineralizations. Outstanding for kombucha, and I assume brewing. I alter at the water level for my sourdough. While water can be about taste as well as hydration, there is also an enjoyable sensation to be felt. My first distiller has been functioning for over ten years while only changing the filter pods and minor dusting maintenance of the top.

I am still running my original 300SS H2OLabs Water Distiller (all original parts) that I bought 9/2016. I use it literally every day, sometime twice a day. It still works like the day I bought it. My cat and I love our fresh water. I just bought my 2nd 300SS last week so I can have more great tasting water on hand for cooking, ice cubes, and my Pod Coffee machine. I highly recommend using the timer makes tank cleaning easier. Key to efficiency is keep the fan blades and coils clean, they will build up dust and lint over time. Great company to deal with and a great product.

If you have well water, get a 100 or 300. The 200 heating element contacts water directly and even after multiple filters and softening the minerals still weld themselves to the element, reducing the lifespan in our case to 2-1/2 yrs. The 300 is far quieter and easier to clean. processing time is the same, 5 hrs. per gallon.

We have had our distiller for 6 weeks and have filtered 40 gallons of water. The carafe was a bit difficult for me to assemble, but the distiller itself is very easy to use and easy to clean. The water tastes great!

Wonderful distiller! I've been running at least 1-2 cycles a day for three years now without issue. Only maintenance I've had to do is to put a little vinegar in after each cycle to dissolve the crust that forms and one time now I've blown dust out of the coil. Highly recommended!

I did a lot of research before deciding on this counter top model. I'm very happy with our purchase! First, shipping was lightning fast. It arrived in less than a week. We've now had it for about 6 weeks and have been distilling 10-12 gallons of water per week. I clean it every 1-3 distillations with vinegar to remove residue. Very easy to use! It comes with cleaner and charcoal filters, which is convenient. A few things to note: the sound of the fan is moderate in noise levelt. It's like a white noise which may not be bothersome to some people, but we have some sensitive ears in our home, so we choose to run it overnight. Second, there is no "off" switch. Once you press the button to start the cycle, it doesn't stop unless you unplug. So, be aware of that when you are handling the unit. Overall, I am very happy with this product and company and highly recommend both!

This is my second 300ss purchased to back up the one I bought in 2014 which is still working well, but can't keep up with my demand, ergo the second purchase. Occasional maintenance, blowing the dust out of the coil will keep it running smoothly. A cup of white vinegar and hot water after each use keeps the boiler nice and clean for the next run.

I won't do without this machine! My house plants were suffering from something in the tap water. Chemicals and minerals were collecting in the bottom of the pots. I could see some strange seepage when I took my plants out to look at the roots. Now the only chemicals in their water are occasional plant food drops.

I've only done 5 or 6 distills with it so far, but it is so much easier and convenient than I thought it would be. The boiler is quite easy to clean out, too. I just scrub it real good with the scratchy side of a sponge and a little dish soap, then pour water in to rinse it out and dry with a paper towel. All the crud that is left on the bottom after each boil proves to me NYC water isn't the greatest, even though it's supposed to be. Or maybe my building just needs new pipes. In any case, the distilled water tastes so clean I wish I had done this 6 years ago when I first considered it. Brita filters are trash.

I don't usually write reviews, but I'm impressed with this product. I've bought two of these distillers (one for me, one as a gift). I've been using mine once or twice daily for over a year, and it just keeps on delivering great water. Seeing the residue left behind, I'm glad I'm using distilled water for my various fermentation projects as well as for tea and coffee. Thank you.

Owned this product for a little over a year and absolutely love it. No problems with it at all. Use it every day, multiple times a day. My family goes through so much water we keep it on back stock in glass jugs. So some days we don’t have to run it. Use it to distill well water from the tap that was simply too high in calcium for our bellies to handle all the time. Every now and then blow out the fan with a can of air. Run it 2-4 times before having to soak it in about an inch of vinegar to clean it out.

I've been using this distiller (Model 300SS) for a few days now and I'm very impressed with it. I spent a lot of time researching counter top units from various manufacturers until I came across this one. From the grade of stainless steel used for the boiling chamber to the glass carafe along with the porcelain insert and carbon pod combination in the exit spout this distiller has it all at a great price point which makes it an excellent bang for the buck. For comparison purposes I distilled using unfiltered water straight out of the tap and compared the results against the filtered water from the tap which is what we always use as our primary source of drinking water. It was very surprising the amount of residue left behind from the unfiltered tap water. Of course we expected residue but not quite to the extent we witnessed. On the other hand we have a very good filtration system so with the filtered tap water (which is what we always use) the amount of residue left behind in the boiling chamber was negligible which is in line with what we were expecting. However, having said that, the filtered water no matter how well it's filtered still may have harmful elements left in it no matter how small or what type of elements they may be which we were able to confirm. So the bottom line is that this distiller, in my opinion, delivers the absolute cleanest and most pristine water on earth just as nature intended and is the only water you should be drinking or use for rinsing your fruits and vegetables or other food items prior to consumption.

I have been using my distiller for one week. I cannot believe how amazingly delicious my gross tap water has been transformed into something so pure, crisp, and clean tasting. I distill overnight so I have fresh water for the day. I use the water primarily for drinking and for my coffee machine. The cleanup is so easy, it's crazy. There is a residue on the bottom of the cylinder each time I distill. I simply pour a small amount of white vinegar to cover the bottom and let it stand for awhile. Then I rinse with a non-scratch pad and tap water. Dry thoroughly. Done. No more crappy aftertaste, no more buying bottled water and above all, no more contributing plastic bottles into the environment.

Update 10.9.17: I've been using this same unit for many years now distilling hundreds and hundreds of gallons of water with not one problem. during this time I also have been drinking commercial purified water, which I have had to cut back on. Sadly the quality control of commercial bottled water cannot be trusted. Here is a recent retest I did of Kroger purified water that illustrates this problem. https://danieldteolijrarchivalcollection.wordpress.com/2017/10/08/kroger-purified-water-has-gone-from-one-of-the-best-to-one-of-the-worst/ Daniel D. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. My brief experience with 300ss water distiller. I live in Miami Florida and I was shocked on how dirty the Miami city water is From tap is. When I poured my first gallon into the distiller the water looked perfectly clear. After 5 hours the distiller turn off automatically. I emptied the carafe into a clean gallon jug. So far so good. When I opened the distiller I was shocked at the sight of brown sluge in bottom of boiling tank. Also calcite deposits at bottom and sides of the tank. The inside- felt like sand paper. I poured two spoons of citirc acid into tank and added halve a cup of tap water. Within minutes the deposits dissolved into solution. But the way the citric acid is included the the purchase. After cleaning the inside with tap water I immediately proceeded to make more distilled water. I noticed that my plants are more healthy and insect attack resistant. I also have no more allergies.

I got this distiller on April 4, 2017. The assembly was very easy. Since then I've been distilling my water daily. Love the taste of water after it is done. It left some gunk each time after use. I always clean it up for the new batch. Did anybody has to adjust the head of the distiller to make the fan working? It happened to me a few times that I'd have to do that. The first time I got scared because I thought it was not working. Other than that everything is fine so far.

Love this distiller! Very easy to use. It does generate some heat, so in the summer, I keep it near the kitchen stove fan to take some of the heat away, and it is great. In the winter, it will heat your kitchen! Great machine!

I've used one of these distillers for years now. Never a problem. If you get your tap water from a river source some of it may be recycled toilet water like ours is. Generally speaking, our drinking water is filthy. Even name brands like Crystal Geyser Alpine spring has tons of dissolved solids and who know what else in it. Here are some of the water tests photos...see for yourself. https://danielteolijr.wordpress.com/2016/01/18/6035/ Thanks H2O labs for making an affordable and reliable product.

This Water Distiller is GRAET. I never realized exactly JUST how dirty the water in Los Angeles is. The residue left behind is self-evidence of that. The unit is larger than a coffee maker. It is relatively quiet and easy to clean. It somewhat resembles the Daleks from Dr. Who. The water is phenomenal. I am now making my own coffee at home and I have stopped buying bottled water altogether. Ice Cubes made with distilled water are the best and steamed veggies and soups seem to taste better. Here is a cooking hint: Rinse your coffee maker or other pans with distilled water. Wipe them out with a clean dish towel or paper towel. If you order the model with the glass carafe, make sure that you have a small Phillips Head Screw Driver as the handle Must be attached after purchase.
