Product Description:

The modern light-weight design is recommended for seniors and others who may have difficulty in lifting. Although it may not boast the sturdiness of our heavy-duty Model 100 & 300 series, it produces the same quality and quantity of pure distilled water.

Features and Convenience:

  • Modern Design with Advanced Functionality.
  • Easy operation, Refill and Reset LED indicator, Energy efficient.
  • Light-weight, lift-out, easy-fill water holding tank with continuous water-feed valve.
  • Process 1 gallon of tap water in approx. 5 hours. Can make up to 4 gallons a day.
  • Distilled water begins to be produced rapidly in approximately 5 minutes.
  • 600-Watt heating element with thermal overload protection.
  • Automatic turn-off when distillation cycle is completed.
  • The thermoplastic boiling tray is easily removed for cleaning and is dishwasher safe.

Easier to use than a coffee maker! Just Fill and Start. Most convenient countertop model to operate and maintain. Light-weight tap water supply reservoir lifts out for easy filling without putting the entire unit into the sink as required with competitive models. Set it and forget it. Continuously fills boiling tray until one full gallon has been made, then automatically shuts off.

Reduced Cleaning and Maintenance. This unit has a "stick-resistant" boiling tray to help reduce scale buildup. Also since the heating element is suspended in water, much of the scale particles drop to the bottom of the tray to be easily rinsed away. This means that you can run approx. six cycles without thoroughly cleaning, instead of having to disassemble and clean your unit after every cycle. This saves time and is much more convenient to use.

This water distiller comes to you ready to use, complete with Collection/Storage Container, Activated Charcoal Pod and Anti-scale pad, (everything you need to begin making the PUREST water right away.) Counter-top unit is classic white to match other kitchen appliances.

Note: The Model 200 is a completely different design than our much-admired Model 100 and Model 300 series. Customers seem to like it’s convenience and ease of operation. Instead of a one-gallon stainless steel boiling chamber with the heating element under the tank, (as Models 100/100SS & 300/300SS have), the heating element on the Model 200 is inside the boiling tray and comes in direct contact with the source water. Also since it has an automatic water-feed system, the boiling chamber is smaller. The boiling tray is "stick-resistant" to help reduce scale buildup which reduces cleaning and maintenance. It also has a handy, easy-fill water reservoir which means that the main unit can stay on your counter instead of putting it into your sink to refill.

Attention Dental Offices: Model 200 is used by many dental offices. However, Model 100 is the preferred water distiller to make distilled water for autoclave use, and for that reason we highly recommend the Model 100 over the Model 200. Our automatic systems are also excellent choices for dental office applications. As with any water distiller, never use activated carbon pods or filters when making distilled water for autoclave use.

We bought our first one in 2012. It is great!! We are buying a second one so we can make more at one time. This is a very dependable product as long as you clean off the heating element every few cycles. Vinegar works great when you let the element soak in it overnight!! Teresa M.

It's easy like the ad says. Like Tanya I'm not completely happy with the taste of the water yet. With the filter it tastes like charcoal filtered water, without it it's worse. To me it's a synthetic taste. I may have to do some experiments to see if collecting into glass would make a difference. I'll use a Brita to filter the taste even more.

Another great invention, I use it for my own drinking water and for my aquarium and my cherry shrimp love it :) People don't realize that reverse osmosis filters are always on, so they even filter water that sits in your taps overnight... so they get dirty very quickly and can contaminate your water instead of clean it. This was the easiest thing to use, and very portable and simple to clean and maintain :) You guys are brilliant..

I have a walk-in humidor for my cigar collection- distilled water is a must have. I use over 2 gallons a day to keep the room at 68% humidity and the Model 200 helps keep my cigars fresh and chemical free.

My first distiller and a I could not be more satisfied. I distill water to fill our humidifier and use about 3 gallons per day. Extreme reduction on cleaning humidifier and white dust in the room. I also use excess water to refil an aquarium. And occasionally have enough left over to drink. Makes good tea compared to our hard alkaline well water here on the high planes of Texas. The 200 is a great product for the money and mine has run 24 hours a day since I got. it.

I FIRST HAD THE 100SS FOR SEVERAL WEEKS, THEN ORDERED THE 200. THE 200 WINS THE PRIZE WITH LOWER COST PER GALLON, GREATLY REDUCED CLEANING, DOES NOT PRODUCE AS MUCH OPERATION HEAT IN THE ROOM AS DO THE 100SS. I AM GOING TO GIVE AWAY MY 100SS SINCE I FIND I DON'T USE IT NOW. THE 200 USES AROUND 2.9 KWH CONSISTANTLY WITHOUT ANY CLEANING YET AFTER PRODUCING 8 GAL. THE 100SS IS A PAIN TO CLEAN UP AFTER EACH USE AND IS NECESSARY. I AM NOT HAVING THE CHLORINE PROBLEM THAT TANIA IS HAVING. AFTER CLEANING THE RECEIVING CONTAINER AS DIRECTED, AND NOT RINSING THE CONTAINER WITH TAP WATER TO CONTAMINATE IT, THE ONLY OTHER PROBLEM THAT IT MIGHT BE IS THE UNIT IS NOT VENTING PROPERLY TO GET RID OF ANY GASES. I SUGGEST TO CALL TECH SUPPORT AS THE UNIT MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED.

I bought the Easy-Fill Model 200 recently. I am very happy with the model itself - the dirt is easy to pour away after the cycle compared to other distillers where it dries into stone. But the distilled water awfully smells of chlorine if it goes right to the plastic carafe (even the attached filter does not help). It does not smell when I collect it in a glass jar. So, I conclude that the odour goes from the jar itself. It is really bad, even worse than a smell at swimming pool. For now I just filter it additionally in Brita that removes the smell and use it. But what is exactly in the plastic that diffuses into the distilled water? Maybe I should distill it again? ;(
